After being insulted by Kanye West at 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, Taylor Swift has been scheduled to perform on 'The View', which will be broadcast on ABC Tuesday, September 15.
Taylor Swift has been scheduled to appear on ABC's "The View", which will be aired on Tuesday morning, September 15. It will mark her first appearance on small screen after being interrupted by
Kanye West during her acceptance speech at 26th Annual MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night, September 13.
During the show, she will perform two of her singles. However, there has been no word about the details of Swift's upcoming performance. Beside being scheduled to sing on the talk-show, the country music songstress, according to TVWeek, will share about her appearance at the awards show.
Taylor Swift received an award for Best Female Video category at 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. When giving an acceptance speech for the gong, Kanye West suddenly jumped on stage and stated that
Beyonce Knowles actually deserved the prize. Fortunately, Swift got a second chance to finish her speech when Knowles invited her to come to the stage during the 28-year-old beauty's acceptance speech for Video of the Year award.
Commenting on West's insult at her, Swift told MTV News backstage after the show, "It has been a crazy night, hasn't it?" Then, she went on detailing, "Well, you know, I was up there and I was standing there and I saw Kanye up on the stage. I was really excited ... and I kind of wasn't excited anymore."
