Anna Kendrick Comments on Playing Human Role on Kristen Stewart's 'Twilight' Films

Anna Kendrick admits that she really enjoys portraying ordinary girl Jessica Stanley on 'Twilight' and its sequels because she has a lot more liberty to explore the character.
On upcoming "", reprises her role as an ordinary girl named Jessica Stanley, one of the school classmates of 's Bella Swan. Recently, in an interview with MTV News at Toronto International Film Festival, the 24-year-old beauty has commented on her human character on "Twilight Saga" film series.

"The thing about playing one of the human characters, the non-supernatural characters in the '' series, is we have a lot more liberty to make it our own and change things," Anna claimed. "Because people don't have that attachment that they do to the myth, the world that Stephenie Meyer created in terms of the supernatural aspect. So we've never really gotten in trouble for straying a little bit. We're having fun. We've been faithful to the book, but [there are] a few changes."

In the same interview, Anna Kendrick sang praise to her "Twilight" co-stars and Kristen Stewart, who can handle their fame well. "They're so levelheaded. They've handled it so gracefully," the "" star stated.

"The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" will follow Bella Swan, who is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob. She knows that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death. Directed by David Slade, the flick will hit U.S. theaters on June 30, 2010.
