Expressing her disagreement over animal cruelty, 'Glee' actress Lea Michele has joined People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to say no 'to horse-drawn carriage rides'.

Lea Michele, has joined PETA for its campaign to stop animal cruelty. In a picture, which is posted on the official website of the animal rights organization, the star is seen posing in a black shirt with the note "Say NO to horse-drawn carriage rides" being tagged on the bottom.
Along with the image, there is a report which mentions that Lea is among some celebrities "who 'don't stop believin'' that the cruel and dangerous buggy biz needs to be done away with." The 23-year-old beauty joins some famous celebrities, such as
Pink,
Pamela Anderson,
Alec Baldwin, Rue McClanahan and Chrissie Hynde, who also support the campaign.

Eli Roth has also joined PETA. Appearing in a new public service announcement (PSA) for the organization, he was seen kissing a boa which squeezed him. At the clip, the actor stated, "While violence in the movies is make-believe, sadly, violence against animals is all too real. [L]et's leave the violence where it belongs: on the screen."
As for Lea Michele, the girl, who began her career as a Broadway actress in 1990, got her first major small-screen role in Fox TV series "Glee", which has been kicked off on May 19. In the musical dramedy series, she plays Rachel Berry, a talented star of the Glee Club who is bullied by the Cheerios and football players.
