'We would love to get Robert Pattinson,' says Seth Meyers when talking about his willingness to see the British hunk hosting the upcoming season of 'Saturday Night Live'.
A crew member of "Saturday Night Live" has expressed willingness to get
Robert Pattinson a hosting spot on the hit NBC show's upcoming season. Seth Meyers, the head writer of the series, claimed the British hottie's involvement is going to be "the power" of the show.
"We would love to get Robert Pattinson," Meyers told E! Online at 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday, September 20. "How dare you tell me he's the hot guy from '
Twilight', like I don't already know!"
However, there hasn't been any official statement from the show's producers that Pattinson will appear as one of the hosts on its 35th season. "Oh! I don't know. I don't know about that yet!"
Kristen Wiig, a cast member of the American comedy/variety show testified.
Last month, it was announced that
Megan Fox would host the premiere episode of "Saturday Night Live" 35th season, which will be aired on September 26. "Megan is psyched to have gotten this opportunity," an insider told Life and Style. "She has a lot of surprises in store for the audience. This is the perfect opportunity for her to show off her comedic skills, as she's launching her new movie '
Jennifer's Body' [on Sept. 18]."
