'Lost' Star Sonya Walger Confirms Marriage to Davey Holmes

Sonya Walger, who portrays Penny Widmore on TV series 'Lost', admits that she has tied the knot with a screenwriter named Davey Holmes in July.

35-year-old Sonya Walger reveals that she has got hitched with Davey Holmes, who is a screenwriter, in July. "I got married six weeks ago. It's just a sweet thing. I haven't got a better word for it. It's an enormous amount of sweetness," she told People during 7th Annual BAFTA-LA TV Tea Party recently.

Sharing about her feeling on the wedding day, Sonya said, "I felt very unstressed on my wedding day. I'm very grateful for that ... spending the day on my own, being super quiet and happy and just puttering around doing my own thing." At that time, the actress and Davey invited about 100 guests to attend their nuptials.

During the rehearsal dinner, Sonya and Davey kept things casual. "We had a Beatles karaoke band," she admitted. Opening up about her favorite tunes from the legendary band, Sonya revealed, "I love the ones that I can sing so it tends to be like 'Michelle' and 'Norwegian Wood' because I can sing them."

Aside from her personal life, Sonya Walger gets public attention after starring as Penny Widmore on ABC's "Lost". She can next be seen starring on "Flash Forward", which will be premiered on Thursday, September 24.
