It looks like there will be another "Grey's Anatomy" star who is busy nursing a baby. After her co-star Katherine Heigl adopted a Korean girl, Ellen Pompeo has also become a mother. The actress and her husband Chris Ivery have welcomed their daughter on Tuesday, September 15 in Los Angeles, her representative confirmed to E! Online.
The newborn baby is named Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery. It was reported that the little girl and her mother Ellen are doing fine. Stella is the first child for the 39-year-old beauty and music producer Chris, who tied the knot in November 2007.
News that Ellen Pompeo was expecting a baby with Chris Ivery emerged in April. At that time, her representative Jennifer Allen told People the pair was "ecstatic" about their upcoming first child, but she did not mention how long the star had been pregnant with the baby. Then, in the same month, she was spotted sporting a visible baby bump while grocery shopping at Whole Foods in West Hollywood.
