Jackson Rathbone Back on 'Eclipse' Set After Getting Injured

After being injured during the rehearsal of his fighting scene in 'The Twilight Saga's Eclipse', Jackson Rathbone has been back on the film's set on Wednesday, September 23.

"The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" star Jackson Rathbone has been suffering from a minor injury on the film's set on Tuesday, September 22, during when he was seen walking around with an ice pack on his hand. However, a day later, the depicter of Jasper Hale in the "Twilight" films has been back on the shooting location as a representative for Summit Entertainment claimed the actor is now okay.

"Actor Jackson Rathbone of 'The Twilight Saga' movies, was slightly injured yesterday during a fight scene rehearsal. As a precaution, he was driven to the hospital and checked out by a doctor," the studio's representative said in a statement to Access Hollywood on Wednesday, September 23. The representative immediately added, "He's fine and is back at work on the set of ECLIPSE today."

The shooting of "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" has been kicked off in August and takes place in Vancouver, Canada. Previously, Jackson Rathbone hinted that he is "going to shoot a lot of fighting scenes" in the third installment of the vampire drama movies. He additionally said, "It won't be karate, it won't be kung fu, like the stuff we're doing in 'Airbender.'" The second sequel of the "Twilight" franchise is scheduled to be released in the U.S. on June 30, 2010.
