Claiming she can be warm and fashionable without wearing animal fur, Karina Smirnoff bares her skin in new ad for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
Another celebrity has joined PETA for its campaign against animal cruelty. Posing in new advertisement for the non-profit organization, "Dancing with the Stars" beauty
Karina Smirnoff wears nothing to cover her skin but a pair of silver heels and some jewelry. Additionally, Karina's note which mentioned, "I'd rather dance naked than wear fur," is tagged along with her raunchy image.
In an interview during the photo shoot with photographer Robert Sebree, Karina confessed, "I did wear fur, especially when I was little." However, she decided to stop wearing it after watching video footage of baby seals who were killed for their skins. "But there are ways of being warm and being fashionable without being cruel," she added.
Karina also uttered her opinion about animal cruelty, saying "You have a choice as an individual, you have a choice in the press, in the world, whether to make a statement that you do support killing animals or make a statement when you don't." The 31-year-old star, who just called off engagement with her fellow dancer in "DWTS"
Maksim Chmerkovskiy, then stated, "And you can still be as chic as you can possibly want to be."
