Initially planned to be premiered on January 8, 2010, Miley Cyrus' upcoming film 'The Last Song' has been pushed back until April 2 of the same year.

The Last Song". On Wednesday, September 23, a representative for the actress and a statement from Disney have confirmed the film, which was originally set to be released on January 8, 2010, has been pushed back for about three months. "The date is now April 2," the rep said. "We found a better release date than January for it. It will open Easter weekend/spring break."
Previously, Miley has given a sneak peek at her upcoming movie by presenting the audience at shows on her Wonder World tour with a preview clip. Talking about filming the movie, the 16-year-old star stated, "I changed a lot when I was in Tybee Island. I feel like art really does imitate life." She then added, "I feel like I'm really showing a part of my growth as a person as well. So, I'm really excited for people to see it, just because of what it means to me, personally."
In "The Last Song", Miley Cyrus stars as rebellious teenager Veronica Miller, who is sent to spend the summer with her estranged father. She will play opposite
Liam Hemsworth, playing Will Blakelee, with whom she has been pictured sharing passionate kisses on the film's set. Penned by Nicholas Sparks, who also wrote the novel with the same title, the movie is directed by Julie Anne Robinson.
