Stephen Moyer's Dog to Serve as Ringbearer at His Nuptials

Though he hasn't set his wedding date with Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer says his 10-year-old border collie named Splash will serve as the ringbearer at his nuptials.

Stephen Moyer will give his dog an important role at his upcoming nuptials to "True Blood" co-star Anna Paquin. "Splash, my alpha, will be the ringbearer. My son [Billy, born in 2000] might be unhappy about that," he told People on Wednesday, September 23 at the L.A. Dogworks and Good Dog Animal Rescue fund raiser, during where he and Anna served as the event's hosts.

In early August, representatives for Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin confirmed that the twosome has got engaged. Asked about his marriage plan with the 27-year-old beauty, he simply replied, "We haven't planned anything. People say, 'You are engaged to be married,' and I'm like, 'Really? I thought we were just engaged,' " Stephen, who has already had two children Billy and Lilac from his previous relationships, testified.

As of late, Stephen Moyer admitted that he first fell in love with Anna because of her talent. "We were actually improvising and trying stuff, [like] 'It doesn't work this way, let's do it another way,' and so immediately I was very excited about that," the depicter of vampire Bill Compton on "True Blood" recalled. "And then after a few weeks, we'd finished working and I was back in London and she was in New York and I really, really missed her..."
