On Saturday, September 26, Justin Guarini has tied the knot with fiancee Reina Capodici in a romantic and intimate wedding ceremony.
After becoming the runner-up of "American Idol" first season,
Justin Guarini has had another important day in his life. On Saturday, September 26, the singer has tied the knot with his fiancee Reina Capodici in a romantic ceremony at a private estate overlooking the Delaware River, near both of their families' homes in Pennsylvania.
Presided over by a female minister from the Universal Church, the two swapped vows in an intimate family wedding, which was attended by fifty friends and family members, including Reina's 4-year-old daughter Lola. In a picture obtained by , Justin and his bride looked lovely wearing their wedding costumes.
After the nuptials, there was a reception held at the Doylestown, Pennsylvania home of Justin's parents. As the star previously said, during the reception, a group called the Vitamin String Quartet played the couple's favorite songs by
Radiohead and
Peter Gabriel.
Justin Guarini and Reina Capodici met when they were in high school, but they did not start dating until two years ago. In December 2008, the twosome decided to get married after he proposed to her at Disney's EPCOT Center, where he filmed the "hosting clips" for the "American Idol Experience" ride. On September 24, Justin told Radar Online that he and Reina were going to get married in a private ceremony without "traditional wedding music."
