The music video to support
Carrie Underwood's single entitled "Cowboy Casanova" has been released. At the beginning of the footage, the country music songstress is seen serenading the tune in a party. While singing the song, the 26-year-old beauty is spotted sitting on a big chair that is put in the middle of a room.
The scene then switches to capture Underwood dancing to the track alongside some female dancers. Then, at the end of the clip, the blonde singer is spotted in an old building, dancing in front of a guy, who is snapped wearing a black cowboy hat.
"Cowboy Casanova" is the first single off Underwood's third studio album, "Play On", which is going to be made available for purchase in the U.S. on November 3. The winner of "American Idol" 4th season co-wrote the song along with Brett James, who has written her single "Jesus, Take the Wheel", and Mike Elizondo, who is best known for his works with some famous singers, such as
Eminem,
Jay-Z, and
Dr. Dre.
On September 3, Carrie Underwood released the final version of "Cowboy Casanova" in her official website. In late August, the cover art for "Play On" was unleashed. In the shot, Underwood is pictured sitting with a white flower inserted on one of her ears and leaning her chin on her right hand.
