The first trailer for Jackie Earle Haley's 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' shows young Freddy Krueger burning alive before he turns into a serial killer, who haunts teenagers in their dreams.
The first trailer for "A Nightmare on Elm Street" has been debuted, giving a sneak peek at the horror movie. The clip is opened with some scenes that show young Freddy Krueger being chased by a group of people before he was burned alive in a building.
The scene then switches to film Krueger turning into a serial killer with his shining razor glove. He haunts several suburban teenagers, including Nancy Thompson and her boyfriend Quentin, through their dreams. Avoiding from being the victims of "horribly disfigured killer", these young people struggle not to fall asleep.
"A Nightmare on Elm Street" is the remake of Wes Craven's 1984 film with the same title. Jackie Earle Haley is cast to portray Freddy Krueger, while Rooney Mara plays Nancy Thompson. Also joining the cast ensemble are Katie Cassidy, Thomas Dekker and Kellan Lutz. The flick will hit U.S. theaters on April 30, 2010.
