Rumor has it, Rose McGowan, who got public attention after starring as Paige Matthews on "Charmed", has broken off her engagement to filmmaker Robert Rodriguez. Unfortunately, as of the press time, representatives for both "The Black Dahlia" actress and Robert have yet to confirm or deny the report, Radar Online claimed.
Rose McGowan and Robert Rodriguez's first meeting was on the set of "Planet Terror" in 2006, during when she starred as a stripper with a machine-gun leg, while he became the helmer of the project. Both of them made their first public appearance as a couple at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2007. Then, in October the same year, Rose and Robert officially announced their engagement.
At that time, there was speculation that Robert got divorced from his wife of 16 years Elizabeth Avellan because of Rose. However, he soon turned down the news, claiming he and Elizabeth actually had separated long before the production of "Planet Terror" was started.
