Along with announcement about cancellation of Lady GaGa and Kanye West's 'Fame Kills' tour, Live Nation has confirmed that the joint tour is rescheduled for November 10 in Phoenix.
Just some days after the schedule of
Lady GaGa and
Kanye West's "Fame Kills" tour came out, Live Nation has confirmed on Thursday, October 1 that the upcoming tour was canceled. Unfortunately, the company refused to give any further detail about the reason of the cancellation.
According to The Associated Press, refunds have been available for GaGa and West's fans who have brought tickets for the joint tour. It is rescheduled for November 10 in Phoenix and planned to run through at least January.
In related news, rapper
50 Cent has apologized for describing Lady GaGa and Kanye West's "Fame Kills" tour as a "gay tour". Taking to his blog, ThisIs50.com, he wrote, "During an interview with Angie Martinez yesterday, certain comments I made were taken entirely out of context."
"When I referred to the Lady Gaga tour as 'the gay tour,' I was basically repeating what I thought she had referred to the tour in the past," 50 Cent explained further. "It was not my intention to offend anyone. I don't have a problem with anyone's lifestyle and have no issue with Lady Gaga. She makes great music."
