About a month after her engagement to "The Office" star John Krasinski was confirmed, Emily Blunt detailed how he proposed to her. "All I can say is that there were flutes playing in the background, butterflies," the "The Devil Wears Prada" actress said in a recent interview with MTV. "There were angels showering us with rainbow drops." Unfortunately, Emily declined to reveal the exact date when she officially got engaged to the 29-year-old actor.
Asked about her wedding plan with John, Emily simply replied, "We don't know. We actually aren't sure yet. We're being uselessly unplanned about this." She then continued, "But I promise you will be the first to know. You will know before my mother."
On August 28, a representative for Emily and John confirmed that the twosome has decided to take their romance to the next level. "We can confirm that John and Emily are engaged," the spokesperson told Us Magazine.
Emily Blunt began dating John Krasinski following her split from famous singer Michael Buble in July 2008. In November the same year, Emily and John were allegedly caught vacationing together in San Ysidro in Santa Barbara, California.
