Katie Holmes Has Tom Cruise As Her Fashion Police

Katie Holmes does not have to worry about her fashion style because she has her husband as her fashion police. In an interview for the November issue of ELLE magazine, the cover of which she also graces, the actress has admitted that Tom Cruise often critiques the way she dresses.

"He usually likes everything, but sometimes I'll walk out and he'll say, 'I think that dress might be wearing you. You don't need that,'" Katie stated, before adding "Tom has great taste." She then mentioned some of her favorite fashion designers, saying "I love Alaia, for sure. Stella McCartney. I like Ralph Lauren because I feel like it's very American, and I'm pretty all-American, from Ohio. Isabel Marant and a new designer, Sari Gueron."

During the interview, the three-year-old Suri Cruise's mother, who recently filmed her upcoming thriller movie "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" in Australia, also talked about her favorite genres of film. "It can be any genre. I even like vampire movies - they just have to be well done. I want to believe in the characters. The minute it starts to feel not real, I'm not interested," Katie told ELLE.
