Michael Jackson's song 'This Is It', which will be included on the soundtrack album to his upcoming film with the same title, has been released on October 12 midnight.
Michael Jackson's new song entitled "This Is It", the first single which comes out after his death on June 25, has been unveiled. As it was announced before, the track has been released on his official website on October 12 midnight.
The song, which features backing vocals by his brothers, will be heard during the closing sequence of Michael's upcoming film "This Is It". Moreover, the track will be included on the soundtrack album to the forthcoming movie. The vinyl version of the record will be released in the U.S. on November 10, while the CD will be made available for purchase worldwide on October 26 and 27.
As for the film, "This Is It" will offer Michael Jackson's fans behind-the-scenes at the King of Pop's preparation for his sold-out concerts which was initially scheduled to take place at London's O2 Arena in July. Directed by Kenny Ortega, the movie will hit U.S. theaters on October 28 and will run for a special, limited two-week engagement.
