While Taylor Swift leads the pack of 2009 American Music Awards with six nods, the soundtrack album to Robert Pattinson's 'Twilight' grabs a spot in Favorite Album-Soundtracks category.

Snoop Dogg have announced the nominees of 2009 American Music Awards on Tuesday, October 13. The soundtrack album to
Robert Pattinson's vampire drama movie "
Twilight" secures a spot among the Favorite Album-Soundtracks category. One particular song included in the album is "Never Think", which is written by the British hunk and co-written by Sam Bradley. Moreover, the digital version of the soundtrack also features a track entitled "Let Me Sign", which was written by Pattinson along with Marcus Foster and Bobby Long, Radar Online reports.
Beside "Twilight" soundtrack, the theme songs to
Miley Cyrus' TV series and movie also grab nods at the same category. The soundtrack to the hit Disney show "Hannah Montana" season 3 as well as the theme song of its film adaptation, "
Hannah Montana: The Movie", will compete with the "Twilight" soundtrack at the event.
