Penelope Cruz Rumored Filming 'Sex and the City 2'

Penelope Cruz is reported taking part in 'Sex and the City 2' and to have filmed her cameo appearance in the upcoming movie.

Another A-list celebrity has been reported to make an appearance in "Sex and the City 2". According to OK! Magazine, Penelope Cruz has just filmed her scene for the second installment of the 2008 box-office movie, "Sex and the City". The Spain-born actress is said taking a cameo role, playing herself who appears on the red carpet.

Additionally, the site claimed stage and screen legend Liza Minnelli will be involved in the upcoming film to sing Beyonce Knowles' hit song "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" during the gay nuptials of Willie Garson's Stanford and Mario Cantone's Anthony. At the wedding, Sarah Jessica Parker's Carrie Bradshaw will serve as the best man.

Beside those two stars, Miley Cyrus reportedly has joined the cast ensemble for the drama comedy movie. Moreover, OK! Magazine has been confirmed that she will shoot her cameo appearance later this week. Previously, Life and Style reported that the teen sensation had been scheduled to film her scene on Friday, October 16.

In "Sex and the City 2", the major actresses, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis, return to reprise their roles as Carrie Bradshaw Preston, Samantha Jones, Miranda Hobbes Brady, and Charlotte York Goldenblatt respectively. Though the official plot of the flick has not been announced yet, Warner Bros. Pictures has planned to release the film on May 28, 2010.
