Releasing the first single off her not-yet-titled debut album, Leighton Meester comes to Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM show to talk about the song.
Leighton Meester's first single entitled "Somebody to Love", which features Robin Thicke, has been premiered. Released on Tuesday morning, October 13 during Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM show, the track is taken from her not-yet-titled debut studio album, which is planned to be released before the end of 2009.
Talking about the song, Leighton told Ryan, "I really wanted to make something completely different than anything that's on the radio right now." She then added, "I feel like it's really dancey and fun, but still laid-back, relaxed and moody and sexy."
Although "Somebody to Love" is the lead single off Leighton Meester's upcoming first solo album, this is not her debut in music industry as she has been featured in Cobra Starship's single "Good Girls Go Bad". The track was taken from the group's album, "Hot Mess". The song was first aired on radio in May while the music video, which also features the "Gossip Girl" actress, has been premiered in late June.
