Nicole Richie and Joel Madden Rumored Secretly Tying the Knot

Rumor has it, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have walked down the aisle. According to Radar Online, the reality TV star and the Good Charlotte's frontman obtained a marriage license sometime last week and they have tied the knot in a secret ceremony on Wednesday, October 14. However, as of the press time both stars have yet to comment on the news.

Back in August, there was report that Nicole Richie has seriously talked about marriage after the death of her former boyfriend, DJ AM. Two months later, a friend of the Lionel Richie's daughter told a publication that she has just proposed to Joel Madden. "She asked Joel to marry her, over dinner at home. He was delighted and agreed straight away," the friend said.

Previously, Nicole revealed she and Joel were not in a rush to get married although the 28-year-old beauty admitted that they would definitely get hitched someday. Supporting his living partner's statement, Joel explained, "We're really focused on our family, and we feel like - we already feel kind of married, you know?" The pair, who has been together for almost three years, has had two children, 21-month-old Harlow Winter Kate Madden and 1-month-old James Midnight Madden.
