Contrary to swirling rumor, Gossip Cop on Thursday, October 15 has debunked report of Jennifer Aniston rekindling love with her ex-boyfriend John Mayer. The site claimed the actress' representative has told them that there is no truth on the report, considering the news "rubbish".
The latest issue of Us Magazine reported that Aniston and Mayer are back on. "He really got to her, and she's hooked on him. She just can't let go," a source said. Additionally, a source close to the 31-year-old singer testified, "They are very close. They remain great friends. He thinks she's amazing, nice and smart, and he has nothing but respect for her."
On-and-off couple Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer began dating in April 2008 following her split from model Paul Sculfor. In August the same year, Mayer dumped Aniston, saying "I ended a relationship to be alone because I don't want to waste somebody's time if something's not right." Two months later, they were reported to have reunited as they had been spotted together for several times.
Then, in March this year, both of them called off their romance again. "He broke up with her when she got back from her European tour," a source said of the 40-year-old beauty who went to Europe to promote her film with Owen Wilson, "Marley & Me".
However, in September 22, Aniston and Mayer allegedly met at Four Seasons Hotel in New York City. Additionally, they were said to have been texting each other. Recently, both of them were snapped enjoying dinner together with the actress' intimates, Courteney Cox and David Arquette, Us Magazine reported.
