'Dollhouse' actress Eliza Dushku admits she is having a special relationship with Vanessa Williams' ex-husband, Rick Fox, who has been her friend for a decade.
After being single for almost eight months,
Eliza Dushku has finally found her new man. In a recent interview with TV Guide magazine, the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star has admitted that she is currently dating former Los Angeles Lakers player Rick Fox, who was previously married to
Vanessa Williams.
Eliza claimed she and Rick have been friends for about ten years, but it was not until this year that their relationship became romantic. "We're trying to balance really getting to know each other with all our demands work-wise. We're taking it one day at a time, having a good time," she told the publication.
Additionally, a source from "Dollhouse", the Fox's TV series in which she is currently starring as Echo, has dished on the new couple. "[Rick] has been very nice. There's definitely an age difference and they aren't the first two people I would put together. But he's been to set and he seems to get along great with everyone," the source told E! Online.
Before romancing Rick Fox, Eliza Dushku dated former athlete Brad Penny. However, in February she announced that their romance had ended. As for Rick, he tied the knot with actress/singer Vanessa Williams on September 26, 1999, but they got divorced in August 2004. The two have one daughter, 9-year-old Sasha Gabriella Fox. Additionally, the athlete-turned-to-actor has a son named Kyle from his relationship with college girlfriend Kari Hillsman.
