After being romantically linked to several men following her split from fiance Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Karina Smirnoff has confirmed that she is currently still unattached.

Following her split from Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Karina Smirnoff has declared that she is currently still unattached. Speaking to Hollyscoop at the Fox Reality Really Awards on Tuesday night, October 13, the 31-year-old beauty admitted, "I love being single."

Karina Smirnoff got engaged to Maksim Chmerkovskiy, her fellow dancer on "Dancing with the Stars", on December 31, 2008. Unfortunately, on September 8 this year, her representative announced that the couple had decided to call off their romance, saying "I am confirming that they did indeed break up."

Less than a month after the break-up news emerged, Karina was caught stepping out together with an unidentified guy. During the outing, both of them were seen walking hand-in-hand. At one point, she was pictured cuddling to the guy.

Soon after that, Karina was romantically linked to Aaron Carter, her dancing partner on "Dancing with the Stars" season 9. Clearing up the report, she told Hollyscoop, "It's just a rumor. We're just friends and professionals who dance and have a good time."
