It is no longer a secret that John Mayer and Demi Lovato have been caught for several times tweeting each other. Revealing his crush on the young actress/songstress, the rocker said in a recent interview with MTV News, "I like Demi a lot."
Gushing about Demi's musical talent, John stated, "It's not a matter of obliging her. I look at what makes the best song, what makes the best sound, what makes the most timeless thing." Additionally, he admitted, "I think Demi has a huge career in front of her ... depending on the decisions she makes in her life. And when you're young and you're a star, my thing for her is like, just keep writing, just keep working, just keep developing."
John Mayer and Demi Lovato began tweeting each other in April. The following month, the Disney star claimed the 32-year-old musician has been becoming an important influence and inspiration for her music. "He inspired a lot of the album just because he's an incredible musician," she said. Additionally, Demi expressed her willingness to perform together with John, stating "Every single one! Oh my gosh. I think he's one of the greatest musicians ever! Definitely of our time, but ever!"
