"Thirteen" actress Evan Rachel Wood has been taped to star in "The Conspirator". She joins James McAvoy, Robin Wright Penn, and Justin Long, who have been announced earlier as the cast members for the film. Moreover, the 22-year-old star has been seen on the film's set in Savannah, Georgia on Thursday, October 15, playing Anna Surrat, the daughter of Robin's Mary Surrat.
In addition to Evan, Toby Kebbell has reportedly joined the cast ensemble of the Robert Redford-directed movie. The English actor, who stars as Prince Dastan's brother in upcoming film "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time", is said to portray Abraham Lincoln's assassin John Wilkes Booth.
"The Conspirator" revolves around the trial of Confederate sympathizer Mary Surrat, the only female charged as a co-conspirator in the assassination trial of Abraham Lincoln. As the whole nation turns against her, she is forced to rely on her reluctant lawyer to uncover the truth and save her life. The production of the 2010 historical drama film was begun in earlier October.
