ABC has stated that Maksim Chmerkovskiy will help Joanna Krupa performing her three routines in the October 19 episode of 'Dancing with the Stars', if her partner Derek Hough has not recovered.

Joanna Krupa performing her three routines in the Monday, October 19 episode of the reality show, if her partner Derek Hough has not recovered.
Derek Hough is currently suffering from what is believed to be flu. On Thursday, October 15, he was forced to miss a group rehearsal for the dancing competition due to his illness. Informing his condition, he took to his Twitter page, writing "Woke up with the serious sweats." He then added, "I think I'm getting the flew ... Had a bath now trying to get more sleep."
Later that day, Maksim Chmerkovskiy helped Joanna Krupa in the rehearsal. Hinting at the possible return of the
Karina Smirnoff's ex-fiance to "Dancing with the Stars", Joanna tweeted on Friday, October 16, "Theres a huge change. Maks and i will be dancing mon since we are wking on the routine."
