Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester Won't Split on 'Gossip Girl' Season 3

"They are far from over," an insider tells E! Online about the on-screen relationship between Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester on "Gossip Girl" season 3. "I don't see them breaking up this season at all," the insider continues talking about Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf on the hit CW show.

Hinting at the plot of upcoming episodes during the season, an onlooker claims there is a possibility that Blake Lively's Serena van der Woodsen will hook up with Aaron Tveit's Tripp Vanderbilt, the cousin of Chace Crawford's Nate Archibald. According to the onlooker, Blake and Aaron have been snapped filming their scenes for the show recently.

"Serena and Tripp run into each other at the elevator of Chuck's Empire Hotel and take the elevator together," the onlooker tells E! Online. Unfortunately, as of the press time, a spokesperson for CW has yet to give any clarification on the news.

In related news, a scene which shows Ed Westwick sharing a same-sex kiss with Neal Bledsoe has been featured on the Monday, October 19 episode of "Gossip Girl". In the scene, Leighton Meester is filmed getting very surprised when seeing her love interest making out with Neal, who plays Josh Ellis, a New York University's Head of Freshman Affairs.
