T.R. Knight has decided to call off his romance with gay partner Mark Cornelson, blaming his hectic schedule as the reason for the split.
is back on the market. According to his friend, the former "Grey's Anatomy" actor has decided to call off his romance with gay partner of almost two years, Mark Cornelson, blaming his hectic schedule as the reason for the break-up.
"It just came to a natural end, no hard feelings," the pal says of Knight, who is currently focusing to work in the musical "Parade" at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. Though they are not together anymore, the 36-year-old star and Cornelsen keep maintaining their good relationship. "They still care about each other very much," the pal added.
Following the split, Knight reportedly asked his boyfriend, who is 16 years his junior, to move out of the apartment they shared. However, the actor still hopes for a family by adopting a child. "When the time is right, it will happen," the pal tells , insisting that for now, "his focus is on the show."
T.R. Knight first met UCLA student Mark Cornelson at a Matthew Sheperd Foundation gala in Los Angeles in the fall of 2007. Both of them began dating soon thereafter.
