Calling her vampire character Lucy on 'The Twilight Saga's Eclipse' extremely predatory, Kirsten Prout says she is having fun playing the role.
Just some days after being announced as a new cast member for
Kristen Stewart's "
The Twilight Saga's Eclipse", Kirsten Prout states she really enjoys portraying Lucy on the third "
Twilight" film. "The character is extremely predatory and what's amazing about playing a vampire is you are a predator and you lure in your pray and then you turn on them," the 19-year-old beauty tells ET Canada.
Recalling her shooting time for the David Slade-directed flick, Kirsten says, "I remember we did the scene and we were turning
Jackson Rathbone ['s Jasper Hale] into a vampire so it was kind of fun." The Canadian beauty, additionally, states that she possibly landed the role because of her naturally pale skin. "I was the same color they air brush their vampires ... I am that pale!" she testifies.
On "Eclipse", Kirsten's character is described as a prominent part of the back story of Jasper. Later, she teams up with another vampire Catalina Sandino Moreno's Maria to build a bloodsucking army. However, Maria and Jasper will eventually work together to kill Lucy. The film is scheduled to be released in U.S. theaters on June 30, 2010.
