Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, and Chris Daughtry will join their fellow 'American Idol' alum, Adam Lambert, to perform at 2009 American Music Awards.
At upcoming 2009 American Music Awards, fans will not only watch
Adam Lambert taking the stage to perform his single. On Friday, October 23, Dick Clark Production announced that other "American Idol" alumni, including
Carrie Underwood,
Kelly Clarkson, and Chris Daughtry, have been added to the line-up for the annual awards show.
" 'American Idol' continually produces great talent, and we are looking forward to hosting Kelly, Carrie, Daughtry and Adam," Larry Klein, the producer of the event, confirmed. "It's a great fit for the AMAs."
As of late, Barbadian beauty
Rihanna was announced as one of the performers of the show. She is going to join
Jennifer Lopez,
Alicia Keys,
Jay-Z,
Black Eyed Peas, and
Taylor Swift, who have previously been booked to rock to their songs during the event.
The 37th Annual American Music Awards will be kicked off at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 22. It is going to be aired live on ABC at 8:00 P.M. EST/PST.
