Kristin Davis Feels Protective Towards Shirtless Taylor Lautner

'I feel protective, like what is he doing without his shirt on?' states Kristin Davis when commenting on her 'The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3-D' co-star Taylor Lautner.

Taylor Lautner got public attention after starring as Sharkboy on 2005 movie "The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3-D". Recently, his co-star on the film, Kristin Davis, said she is still concerned about his personal life.

"I'm just a little ... I feel protective, like what is he doing without his shirt on? And then I hear he's dating people and I'm like, 'Ahh!' " the "Sex and the City" actress told MTV News. Gushing about Lautner, Kristin stated, "He's a great kid and he works really, really, really hard and he had a great professional ethic when I worked with him. [He was] nothing of those negative things that you think of with child actors. So for anyone to be succeeding, I'm happy for him."

Recalling the time when she filmed "The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3-D" along with the 17-year-old hottie, Kristin said, "Oh, the youngster! He was the Sharkboy, and I played the mother of the other kid who imagined Sharkboy and Lavagirl in Robert Rodriguez's movie, and I met him down in Texas. He was a kid." Then, the 44-year-old beauty added, "He was a kid and he didn't have those muscles, and I don't know what happened. I see these pictures [now and] I can't believe it."

Professionally, Kristin Davis is currently working on "Sex and the City 2", which will be released in U.S. theaters on May 28, 2010. As for Taylor Lautner, he has been filming "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse", the third installment of "Twilight Saga" film series.
