Lots of A-list celebrities have been photographed attending the Los Angeles premiere of
Michael Jackson's documentary film "
This Is It". Seen among the guests at the event, which was held at Nokia Theatre on Tuesday, October 27, was
Adam Lambert. Singing praise to the late King of Pop, who passed away on June 25, the "American Idol" alum stated, "Michael wasn't afraid of just being himself. Michael didn't conform to one style of music. He did his own thing. That's the thing that makes me tick."
Also joining him to strike poses at the red carpet was
Katy Perry, who chose to don a sexy black dress. At that time, the 25-year-old beauty came to the event without the companion of her boyfriend
Russell Brand. Additionally, "High School Musical" stars
Ashley Tisdale and
Corbin Bleu were all in attendance.
Moreover,
Paula Abdul,
Paris Hilton,
Jennifer Lopez,
Will Smith,
David Cook, and
Neil Patrick Harris were among the stars who paid tribute to Michael by coming to the premiere. Beside those famous celebrities, the 50-year-old singer's brothers in Jackson Five, including Jermaine Jackson, Tito Jackson, and Marlon Jackson, were also pictured hitting the red carpet.
On October 27, "This Is It" was not only premiered in Los Angeles, but also in 15 other cities, including Seoul, Johannesburg, Rio De Janeiro, and Berlin. Directed by Kenny Ortega, the flick offers Michael's fans behind-the-scenes look at the singer's preparation for his sold-out concerts which were initially scheduled to take place at London's O2 Arena in July.
