Rihanna has debuted the cover for her forthcoming album "Rated R". Premiered on PopEater Tuesday, October 27, the artwork shows the songstress sporting a Gothic appearance by applying smoky eyes make-up and wearing a black leather outfit. The black-and-white picture that captures the close-up look of the singer, moreover, features an R letter on its background.
The "Rated R" cover was shot by famous photographer Ellen von Unwerth in Berlin, Germany on October 8-9. In an interview with the site, she claimed, "Rihanna was looking to create something a bit new for the look of the album." The photographer additionally told that Rihanna is "fantastic to work with -- very giving, very creative, very involved in every aspect of the shoot, and ready to push the boundaries."
About the record, "Rated R" will be Rihanna's fourth studio album. The record will be released in the U.S. on November 23. On Tuesday, October 20, the first single off the album, "Russian Roulette", has been released. The Chris Brown's ex-girlfriend has filmed a music video for the single in New York City on October 16.
