Official, Lisa Kudrow Heading to Courteney Cox's 'Cougar Town'

A representative for ABC has confirmed that Lisa Kudrow will join her 'Friends' co-star Courteney Cox to appear on 'Cougar Town'.

It has been confirmed that Lisa Kudrow will join her "Friends" co-star Courteney Cox on "Cougar Town". According to Access Hollywood, on Monday night, October 26, a representative for ABC has confirmed that the depicter of Phoebe Buffay on the 1999 TV series will make a cameo on the drama show.

As of late, Courteney Cox expressed her desire to have Lisa Kudrow on "Cougar Town". She told TV Guide Magazine, "If it all works out, she'll play a dermatologist that my character can't stop going to even though the doctor is mean to me." Then, Cox continued talking about Kudrow's possible character, "She's the best in town at what she does and I become addicted."

In addition to Kudrow, Cox was desperate to have her on-screen husband on "Friends", Matthew Perry, to appear on her current TV series. "I did ask Matthew [Perry] if he'd play my boyfriend on the show. He thought it was a little too much after Chandler and Monica," the 45-year-old beauty said on her and Perry's characters on the famous American sitcom.

Cox, moreover, also wanted her real life BFF Jennifer Aniston to be featured in the hit ABC series, stating "I'd love for her to be on the show, too." She went on detailing, "Obviously we can't cast her so close to Lisa's appearance but if there's a great part for her, I'd send it right away."
