Zachary Levi will possibly reprise his role as Chuck Bartowski on 'Chuck' as NBC has reportedly ordered six more episodes of the show.
Zachary Levi may reprise his role as Chuck Bartowski on some more episodes of "Chuck". According to THR, NBC has ordered six additional episodes of the show, bringing the series' total third-season order to 19 episodes.
Though the network has yet to give any official confirmation about the matter, several sources claim "this is a done deal." The new season of the hit NBC show will possibly be aired in January 2010 and may be partnered with
Hayden Panettiere's TV series "Heroes", which is broadcast Monday nights.
"Chuck", which was first aired in September 2007, centers on Chuck Bartowski, a computer geek who is catapulted into a new career as the government's most vital secret agent. As the government's most precious secrets enter his head, Chuck has to be protected by CIA's top agents, Adam Baldwin's John Casey and Yvonne Strahovski's Sarah Walker.
Along with the news, THR reports that NBC will not order more episodes of Derek Luke's "Trauma". The big-budget action medical drama has been in limbo after a weak start behind "Heroes". On the following weeks, the show only showed a small ratings uptick. Therefore, the series will finish the production of its 13-episode before winding down.
