British manager, Simon Fuller, announced the reunion of Spice Girls will be taking place at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
Reported on October 31 by The Mirror, Simon Fuller stated that
Spice Girls will be reuniting and performing for the 2012 Olympics in London.
Victoria Adams, Melanie Brown,
Emma Bunton,
Melanie C, and
Geri Halliwell who are formed by Fuller as the pop band in 1994, will perform at the opening ceremony with 2 billion onlookers estimated.
Fuller said, "They stand for so much in British music history and I can't think of a better time for them to get back together for another performance." He believed there was a great demand to see Posh, Scary, Sporty, Ginger and Baby performance together. Fuller gave his announcement on Spice Girl's performance right after British Prime Minister Gordon Brown stated that music would play a vital role in the London Games.
2012 Summer Olympics is going to be Spice Girls' second reunion after they last performed together in February 2008 in Toronto, Canada.
Mel B said to Mirror.co.uk last week that Spice Girls will be getting back together. She said, "We are definitely planning something. We haven't decided exactly what yet - but I can say it will be big." They are also reported launching their own TV show, looking for actresses for Spice Girls Musical.
