Chris Brown will be gracing the cover of Vibe magazine's forthcoming issue, which is described as the return issue of the publication after it shut its doors and ceased production immediately in June. In one of his photos for the magazine, the 20-year-old singer is seen laughing when sporting a formal outfit.
According to Advertising Age, Brown will share the print run of the issue with another hip-hop star
Drake. Talking about the upcoming edition, Jermaine Hall, editor in chief of the new Vibe and Vibe.com, says, "Here, Vibe.com is really the hub. That's where everything needs to go back to. Whether it's the magazine, or we decide to do some kind of TV programming down the line, everything needs to come back to Vibe.com."
Hall, moreover, mentions that the new generation of the magazine will return to print with a wider editorial focus that encompasses not only music, but also fashion, politics, culture, arts, and sports. "It's always been a very broad book that's covered the culture of hip-hop, not just hip-hop music. It needs to get back to that," he states. The return issue of will be made available on newsstands December 8.
