Carrie Underwood goes to the public about her love, Mike Fisher, by writing a shout-out on her newest CD.
Winner of "American Idol" fourth season,
Carrie Underwood, found herself in love with professional ice hockey center for Ottawa Senator, Mike Fisher. Carrie showed off his deep feeling for Mike through the thank-yous written on her newest CD.
On the liner notes of "Play On", she gave Mike a shout-out. Carrie wrote, "Thank you #12 You are the most amazing addition to my life! You are such a wonderful person and have had such an amazing hand in the building of this album and in the growth of me as a person. I love you so much! You make my life better in every way! I thank God for you every day ... xoxo, Carrie."
With Carrie and Mike's tight schedule, Mike claimed that they worked hard spending time together. Being open about his relationship with Carrie, to "The Sens Show" in last October, Mike said, "Obviously it's tough with our schedules to see each other. But we always find a way to make it work." Mike gave Carrie a credit as he mentioned her "very committed".
Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher first met in October 2008 when the two were drifted at a concert in Toronto. Reported being seen together at a concert, Mike recalled Carrie as a "friend of a friend". And on February 28, Carrie was seen cheering Senator Games against Nashville Predator.
