Having sympathy for the songstress Rihanna, Mariah Carey knew how it would feel since she was mentally and physically abused.
Feeling sympathy and knowing exactly how felt of being assaulted by last February, admitted that she used to be in the same circumstance. Mariah spilled out that she was mentally and physically abused. In "Larry King Live" which was aired on November 3, Mariah said, "I was very sequestered, as you know, when I first started out ... I wasn't really allowed out of the house, so I can't imagine what she went through."

"Emotionally, mentally, in other ways ... It's scary," the songstress who identifies herself as "an alto with a five-octave range" added. "You know, I just think you get into a situation and you feel locked in. If your situation is similar to one of the situations I've been in - which I won't harp on - for me, to really get out, it was difficult because there was a connection that was not only a marriage but a business thing, where the person was in control of my life."

When she was asked about rumors of her pregnancy, Mariah wiped it off all. She admitted that being pregnant would be "the happiest thing" in her life but she's still focusing on her upcoming movie, "" and also a few singles from her album "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel".

Mariah didn't want to be a "halfway" mom. She asserted, "I wouldn't be just like, 'Oh, I'm having a child, Yay! Let me get a nanny so I can give her the baby. Take the kid. That doesn't work for me. I don't believe in that."
