Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles Make Live Performances at 2009 MTV EMAs

During 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards held in Berlin, Germany on Thursday, November 5, Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce Knowless have entertained the crowd with their singles.
Jay-Z has taken the stage of 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards held at O2 Arena in Berlin, Germany on Thursday, November 5. Donning all-black outfit, the rapper performed his hit single "Empire State of Mind". During the event, he also had a duet with U2 to sing the band's song "Sunday Bloody Sunday".
Jay-Z's wife Beyonce Knowles, in the meantime, has entertained the crowd at the venue with her song "Sweet Dreams". The R&B diva, who wore a sexy red dress matched with red gloves, performed beautiful choreography along with some backing dancers.
During the night, the show's host, Katy Perry, sang a medley of the Best Song nominees, including her own unique cabaret-style versions of Beyonce's "Halo" and Kings of Leon's "Use Somebody". Also among the headliners of the show were Shakira, who rocked to her song "Did It Again", and Tokio Hotel with their single "World Behind My Wall".
