Rihanna Regrets Reuniting With Chris Brown After Being Attacked
Though she calls her "first big love", has stated she regrets rekindling romance with him after she was attacked by the "With You" hitmaker on February 8. Talking to Diane Sawyer in an interview that has been aired on ABC's "Good Morning America" Thursday, November 5, the songstress said it was "wrong" to take him back.

"That's embarrassing that that's the type of person that I fell in love with," Rihanna further explained. Describing her feeling after the incident that happened just hours before her and Chris' scheduled performances at 2009 Grammy Awards, the R&B diva claimed, "So far in love. So unconditional that I went back. It's humiliating to say this happened. To accept that? It's a traumatizing experience."

During the interview, Rihanna also opened up about her unwise reaction after she was beaten, saying "I stayed. I even went back after he beat me, which was wrong." Defending herself, the singer stated, "But again ... I'm a human being and people put me on a very unrealistic pedestal. And all these expectations, I'm not perfect."

Rihanna was first reported dating Chris Brown in 2008 as they were seen engaging in serious PDA for several times. After taking some time away from her ex-boyfriend due to the battery case, the "Umbrella" hitmaker gave a second chance to him and rekindled their love in March. Less than a month later, however, they decided to take a break.
