In a recent interview with Daily Record, the "Hannah Montana" star claimed she prefers to be called a role model to an idol, stating "I find that if you look at me a role model I agree with it. If you look at me as an idol I don't agree."

"An idol for me is someone that you want to replicate. You want to be them. I don't wish that on anyone, to lose their personality because that's when your spark goes," said Miley when explaining the reason why she refuses to be seen as an idol. "What I think people like about me and the way they relate to me is because I don't try to change and I haven't let what I do for a living."

Moreover, the Disney cutie said, "People will always say that I'm overworking, over exposed and want all this attention. That's not true." The teen star, who has just named the worst celebrity influence of 2009 in a poll conducted by AOL's JSYK.com (Just So You Know), then added, "I just want people to realise that I really am grateful for what I do and I do care about the fans.
