Kristen Stewart has shown to the public that she is aware of social issues. On Sunday, November 8, the "Twilight" actress has been photographed participating during "Walk To Cure Diabetes" that was held by Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
During the annual event that was taken place at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, Stewart served as one of the Celebrity Walk Ambassadors. Also joining her to take part at the event was famous boxer Sugar Ray Leonard.
Beside Stewart and Leonard, about 15,000 persons also participated at the event. All of them showed up to raise awareness and money for a cure for Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes. Last year, the event raised more than $1,800,000 dollars for diabetes research.
Professionally, Kristen Stewart has been scheduled to premiere her vampire drama movie "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" in U.S. theaters on November 20. It is the follow-up to her 2008 movie "Twilight".
