Kate Hudson hated the smell of tobacco on all over her things including her hair, and said that she stopped smoking.

Kate Hudson, had decided to stop her smoking habit for it left the smell of tobacco all over the place. She claimed that she hated the way her hair, her car, and her clothes smelt. "It was starting to drive me crazy!", said Hudson.
Hudson added, "It takes you away from the family and the things you're doing. You don't realize it at the time. Then when you're done you go. 'Wow, I do so much more in a day - including eat. Quitting meant eating more'." She had gained weight after stop smoking since eating had became the substitute of smoking.
As she increased her body weight, rumor of her pregnancy spread out. Hudson explained, "Then there were rumor in the press saying I was pregnant. Later somebody said, 'When did you quit smoking?' And I was like, 'Right about the time everybody thought I was pregnant'."
American actress who is now dating the New York Yankee third base player,
Alex Rodriguez, admitted that she was using salsa to beat her weight down. Salsa had become Hudson's way in maintaining her body in shape since her appetite increased. She explained, "I've kind of gotten into salsa. It's hard, though. If you do a full salsa session an hour, you've got to lose an inch. You're pouring sweat. Salsa is really fun."
