Celine Dion Is No Longer Expecting a Baby

The happy news that "My Heart Will Go On" singer Celine Dion and husband, Rene Angelil, were expecting their second child vanished when In Touch reported that Celine is no longer expecting a baby. A friend said, "While she and Rene are actively trying for a baby, she is not currently expecting."

Celine's second pregnancy was first announced by rep in August. Celine conceived by the help of fertility doctors in New York. The 41-year-old Canadian singer had carried frozen embryos in liquid nitrogen for the past eight years.

Through fertility treatment, Celine Dion and Rene Angelil gave birth to a long waited child, Rene-Charles, on January 25, 2000. Celine first announced that she was pregnant with her first child soon after Rene was being freed from cancer. Unfortunately, there is no confirmation yet on whether Celine has miscarriage in the second pregnancy.
