Not even Brad Pitt can stop Angelina Jolie from expanding her "rainbow" family, if OK! magazine is to be trusted. The publication recently brought up the story in its newest issue which will go on sale in the U.S. Thursday, November 12, stating that the Academy Award-winning actress will move forth with her plan of adopting a baby from Syria, although her long-term partner isn't quite ready for it.
OK! went on to report that her determination to "have more kids - one way or another" has caused a clash between her and the "Inglourious Basterds" star. "He has made it clear that six children are more than he can handle," an insider told the magazine. "The idea of one more seemed ludicrous, but Angie is determined to complete her rainbow family."
Should the story is true, it won't be the first time Angie legally adopted a child by herself. When she was still married to former husband Billy Bob Thornton in 2001, she adopted Maddox. A spokesman for the Immigration and Naturalization Service in D.C. confirmed that, saying "only [Angie's] name [was] on the [adoption] papers."
Before this speculation came out, news of Angie and Brad adopting a baby from Syria has been reported by People. At the time, the magazine stated that the couple refused to reveal the child's sex. Of the adoption, a source said, "It has gone through. She's delighted."
With Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie has already have three biological children, Shiloh, who was born on May 27, 2006, and twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, who were born on July 12, 2008. In addition to their three kids, they also have three adopted orphans from Cambodia, Vietnam and Ethiopia, 8-year-old Maddox, 5-year-old Pax, and 3-year-old Zahara.
