When his friend brings along two girls to cheer him up, the 'Twilight Saga' star says words that nearly put off the girls' party mood.
While he mesmerizes many with his Edward Cullen charm in the "Twilight Saga" series,
Robert Pattinson gets denied by girls in his other film, "
How to Be", as evidently seen in the film's newly-released clip. Brought forth by MTV, the one-minute plus clip displays Pattinson as the socially awkward Art.
The clip unravels the scene after Art is dumped by his girlfriend. When he goes to hang out with friend Nikki, his oddball friend tries to cheer him up by inviting a couple of girls over to help Art forget his ex. Just before the girls join them, Nikki tells Art to not be himself. But, awkward as he is, Art manages to drop a pathetic pick-up line that almost ruined the fun.
"How to Be" revolves around Art, a young man going through a quarter-life crisis. On April 29, it was released in the U.S. on demand on IFC Festival Direct. The DVD version will be available for purchase across the country on November 17. For his portrayal of Art, Robert Pattinson received Best Actor in a Feature award at 2008 Strasbourg International Film Festival.
