During the 15-city cast tour to promote the highly anticipated "The Twilight Saga's New Moon", Ashley Greene gets one surprising marriage proposal. When MTV caught up with her at the Westfield Fox Valley Mall in Aurora, Illinois, the Alice Cullen shared what makes the fan's request for her hand in marriage a unique one.
"I got proposed to through someone's wife," the 22-year-old explained on the uncommon proposal she got from a fan. She went on recalling her reaction to the wacky question, "I was like, 'Wait, what? Really?' She's like, 'Yeah, you can have him!' I was like, 'Oh, OK, great.' But regardless, it was nice to get proposed to."
Greene wasn't the only "Twilight Saga" star to get marriage proposals during the "New Moon" tour. Her co-star, Kellan Lutz, admitted to even get more than one request. "Yeah, a couple of those," the 24-year-old depicter of Emmett Cullen confessed. "They all had boyfriends, so I'm like, 'How can you ask me that when you're taken?' "
Starting from November 6, members of the "Twilight Saga" cast have joined a 15-city cast tour to promote the upcoming sequel to 2008's "Twilight". This nationwide tour was kicked off in L.A. at the Hollywood & Highland Center with many of the cast, including Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson in attendance. The tour will wrap in Times Square, New York on November 19, a day before "New Moon" opens wide in theaters across America.
